“RESPECT THE JUX” OR LOSE IT ALL!
New Book features astonishing tale about a young thief who went on to organize an Order Of Thieves whose heists rake in multi-millions!
Wilmington, DE – (Release Date TBD) – Stealing is universally known as a crime around the world and nothing justifies it as a valid act, but it happens every day, leaving a trail of victims. How do robbers choose their victims? Is it planned, studied, or just random? The answers surrounding the “jux” (pronounced jooks), a type of robbery where the victims everyday movements are studied before the crime is orchestrated are revealed by author, Yello, in his astonishing and compelling new “true fiction” novel, RESPECT THE JUX. Contrary to what some may think, this is not a manual on how to pull off a jux. It was not written to glamorize criminal activity, but intended for as much entertainment as a Quentin Tarantino’s movie, with one exception; it is not a movie, at least not yet.
Respect The Jux is a true fictional account that tells the story of a young thief named Cat, whose escalates from a one-man juxing machine to an order of seven thieves whose heists rake in multi-millions of dollars. The tale begins when he emigrates from Jamaica to America. After finishing high-school, he completes an intense tour of duty in the U.S. Army. Upon his return to civilian life, Cat finds himself in a poor job market and has no choice but to take a minimum wage job at a supermarket. He begins to feel that the American dream had failed him and in a state of desperation, commits his first Jux.
After several successful runs, he decided to expand his one-man operation by forming an Order Of Thieves, a secret society of seven professional thieves. Not the kind you would see in a Hollywood movie swinging down elevator shafts, or bypassing the world’s most sophisticated security systems to retrieve the rarest of diamonds, but the kind that specializes in relieving drug dealers and illegal business of billions of dollars. The Order avoids investigation because of the nature of their victims until a mob boss is robbed and the authorities step in. With The Feds hot on their trail, The Order disburses and Cat moves to Miami immersing himself in the South Beach party scene where he scouts for higher stakes - politicians, athletes, drug kingpins, and celebrities – no one is safe.
Smart and entertaining, Respect the Jux takes a close look at how high-stake thefts are planned and the inner workings of an organized brotherhood of thieves. The details of conducting a jux are astonishing, realistic, enlightening, and even terrifying! Yello is able to capture the essence of the streets in his writing because he actually lived it. He’s a writer whose words paint pictures that are more chilling and gripping line by line than any verse in a rap song.

About the Author
Respect The Jux is Yello’s first published novel inspired from recollections of his own life. Born from humble beginnings in the most violent area of Jamaica West Indies, Dadz, known on the streets as Yello, witnessed the murder of his father by military officers. He immigrated to the United States at the age of eight and by thirteen was living in his own. In order to survive on the streets of New York, he rolled along with everything illegal that made money. He was what the streets would consider a natural. He learned the first code of the streets quickly – hustle or be hustled and got involved in the drug game in the ‘80’s. His name become known, respected, and feared in Lefrak City, Queens (N.Y) where he based his multi-million operation.
In the '90s, he switched his game to taking money instead of hustling for it. He was a natural and found it much easier to get what he wanted by way of the gun. Ultimately, one too many Jux was the cause of his downfall. Arrested and charged with murder, robbery, and assault, Dadz stayed true to the second code of the streets – never snitch - and decided to take the weight for his whole team. His codefendants were free to walk and he took a plea bargain and received a fourteen year sentence in state prison, where he is currently serving his time.
Dadz is able capture the essence of the streets in his writing because he actually lived it. He is a writer, not a story teller. His books capture an audience that consist of young adults, and adults who normally wouldn’t pick up a book and read. ##
